Somewhere among the glitz, glamour, and perfect bodies of the elite Los Angeles social scene lives Bob (Jonathan Lisecki, GAYBY), a socially awkward party planner with a few extra pounds and plenty of neuroses around dating. Encouraged by his friends, Bob attempts to meet new people, without much success and even considers surgery. Then at a party, he meets Andy (Nicholas Brendon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), a handsome, successful chef. Bob’s dating inexperience heightens his anxiety, and his insecurities begin to get the best of him, threatening to thwart his potential “big gay love” in this sweet comedy that turns ideas of beauty upside down.
