Eighteen-year old sensual schoolgirl and budding artist MarÍa gets a real-life education from Alejandra, an older woman. They recite poetry, take in jazz and cocktails, go to the movies, make love…and breakfast. But their age difference quickly causes conflicts. MarÍa is outgrowing her peers, but she’s not quite at Alejandra’s level. Impulsive to the point of rudeness, MarÍa exacerbates Alejandra’s controlling nature.
